I’d like to thank you all for participating in this year's City of Allentown Halloween Parade!

 
I'd also like to personally thank our Halloween Parade Planning committee and the various Departments of the City of Allentown that helped behind the scenes to coordinate and make this year's event run as well as it did! 

We increased the number of divisions from (11) in 2008 to (13) in 2009 as we increased the number of parade participants from 1,000 in 2008 to 1,909. That’s quite an accomplishment.

We have tabulated the parade scores from our judges and have selected our winners.  Shortly, all eligible registered parade marchers will receive their participation letter that will outline the official results and their award.

There will also be a registration form for anyone interested in joining the City of Allentown's 2010 Halloween Parade Planning Committee.   If you are interested in joining this planning committee, please call me at the Department of Parks & Recreation at 610-437-7750 ext 4009. Our first meeting is scheduled for early January 2010.
